除了 M1 电脑,没有其他电脑可以流畅剪辑 4K H.265 422 视频,因为显卡都不支持硬解这种格式,只能靠 CPU 出力。


the newest hybrid cameras (Canon R6/R5, Sony A7SIII, etc.) are using h265 as their acquisition codec. Combined with 10-bit color depth and 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, 4K footage is almost impossible to play back or edit-- even on a really high end system. I have a 3950X and a 2080 Ti and my R5's footage is essentially impossible to edit, and that's not even getting into the 8K that it's capable of shooting. Making proxies is basically mandatory, but it's really time consuming and an extra step I'd really prefer not to have to take.

4:2:2 不一定就是 H.264,也可以是 H.265,A7SIII 就支持拍摄 265 422 格式的视频。

XAVC HS is also new to the A7SIII but unlike the previous two codecs it uses the newer, more efficient H.265 compression standard. This will provide higher quality with smaller file sizes. Where you’re likely to run into issues here is that most graphics cards weren’t designed to support 10-bit 4:2:2 footage. Playback and editing on even the highest end systems will be choppy with this codec, and will require an additional transcoding step before editing.
